My dog vomited up some worms…?

It’s either a roundworm or tapeworm. It was flat, but not obvious segmented, but it does have grooves, so we’re very confused. And it wasn’t completely flat, it was like linguine. This is the first time he’s vomited, and his anus itches. It was probably around eight inches, total, two of them. I thought it was a tapeworm, but everyone else was like “tapeworms are more obviously segmented,” so we don’t know. And yeah, vet, vet, vet, I know. If I can’t get help, I’ll just get both dewormers, but if you have an idea, it would be helpful.

sounds like a tape worm to me honestly, you donnot have togoto the vet yet i would just buy the dewormer at walmart and givehim2 rounds of that and then if hes still passing them go, but please pick up these wormsa nd monitor closely for them to pass and put them in toilet with bleach and let them die before flushing
