I am experiencing very sharp pain starting on the left side of my lower back all the way to my left leg?

I am experiencing very sharp pain starting on the left side of my lower back all the way to my left leg and when I sit up the pain gets even more intense. What could this be?

Could be the sciatic nerve causing yo the problem. I would see a good chiropractor.

I went to the chiropractor for 15 years until I started doing crunches on an exercise ball and a wrestlers back bridge. My back is now flexible and I don’t have to have adjustments.
