What are the physical requirements for United States Marine Corps officer candidates?

Does anyone know specific physical requirements for officer candidates in the USMC? Basic ones must be running, push-ups, sit-ups but how about pull-ups and height/weight?

“20 Pull ups
100 crunches
18 minute 3 mile run
And that is minimums. You Best shoot for doing better than that.”

Wrong! Those are to max out the PFT.
Min, for males, is 10 pull-ups (really it’s like 7 or 8 but my OSO won’t send anyone with less than 10), 80 sit-ups, 24 minute 3-mile (Min cumulative score is 225 out of 300). The guy above did have it right that you should always shoot for the highest but that goes well beyond mere PFT scores.
New OCS classes will also have to do the CFT and the scoring for that is still being developed, your OSO should have more information.

The height and weight chart (min and max) is available elsewhere online.

If you have any more questions, talk to an OSO or e-mail me and I’ll send what I know.
