Training in Xtreme Couture?
Hi, I am 30 years old man who loves MMA so much. Unfortunately, I never trained in proper MMA gym so far. I always have been working for somebody’s company and I am sick and tired of this life style. I think I’ve reached to a point where I must follow my real goal, that is becoming a fighter.
I want to be a professional fighter and I am thinking of getting trained in Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas. My question is, how long does it take for a normal trainee to become a professional one? I am not in USA. That means I only could affort to stay USA for a few months(unless I go to school) Hopefully, I want to be at least acknowledged as a professional fighter by participating in several professional fights during this short period so that I could go on with my career as a fighter even though I come back to my country. Please advise. Your answers would be highly appreciated.
Most places will make you have at least 5 amateur fights before offering you a pro contract. There are extreme circumstances however. You have to be one B.A. fighter or have been well known somewhere else to get a contract quickly. Unfortunately you just can’t pick when you go pro. Promoters have people scout you out and then they offer you a contract. And you will most likely have to stay in the states until you fullfill your contract. You could get lucky and they might pay for you to stay in the states if they offer you a contract. Training at Xtreme Couture could be VERY expensive too. Just because of whose gym in it is. Well, I’m sorry if this discouraged you at all. I’m just trying to help you out so you don’t come over here and get disappointed when you can’t go pro right away. Stay hard in the game and you will go pro soon.
