I’m looking for good Japanese movies to add to my DVD collection?
I really enjoy Japanese movies… So far I have
Seven Samurai,
Samurai Banners,
Red Beard,
Kagemusha,
Samurai resurrection,
Death Trance,
last year’s NHK’s Fuurin Kazan,
and I’d like to get TBS’s Mr. Brain when they release it.
I have 8 seasons worth of the Bleach: the rock musical stage show on DVD… and of course various animes.
are there any other movies you could recommend… Were there any other movies done about Takeda Shingen, Yamamoto kansuke or Uesugi Kenshin?

Have you tried watching the Japanese drama Musashi? It’s about a legendary samurai swordsman .. reminds me of Rurouni Kenshin in the OVA’s.
