Twilight Princess
Are they making a Zelda twilight princess 2? or some variation to the wii version?
I liked the Zelda twilight princess game, that was an amazing game. I was wondering if anybody knew if they were coming out with another one?
If they are, it’s not going to happen any time soon.
A new Legend of Zelda game for the Wii, called Skyward Sword, will be released some time next year. However, this game will not be a sequel to Twilight Princess and will probably be much different. Skyward Sword was announced at E3 2010 this past June.
Skyward Sword begins in Skyloft, a dazzling, colorful, and peaceful-looking world above the clouds where Link has spent his entire life. He soon discovers that a world exists beneath the clouds, which is in fact Hyrule. It is being overrun by evil forces. Link, as usual must stop them, with the help of his trusty weapon: the Skyward Sword. As you can see, the game has no connection to any other Zelda game.
As for gameplay, Skyward Sword will take full advantage of the Wii’s capabilities. Gameplay will rely heavily on motion control, so it will require that you have a Wii MotionPlus. Because of the kind of gameplay, Skyward Sword will be much more casual than previous Zelda games. Nintendo admits the game will concentrate less on story and dungeons and more on “fun”. As you can see, the graphics are also going to be somewhat less realistic than in Twilight Princess. They resemble the cel-shading from the Wind Waker. Apparently, since the game is more hands-on, this is necessary to make the enemies’ weaknesses more apparent.
So although there is going to be another Zelda game, it’s not going to be anything like Twilight Princess, or any other Zelda game for that matter. Sorry!
