Tsuba Saya
My Katana (sword) is rattling. Japanese sword experts only please?
It doesn’t rattle while in the saya. When i draw it out and swing it, the blade rattles a little bit. The tsuba is tight, only the top seppa is loose.
Should i replace the mekugi? Reassemble the whole thing?
I’m not a Japanese sword expert… but where did you get your sword? If you bought it online, chances are it’s a factory made piece with a poorly wended tang.
