Trident Tanto

SOG Trident or Aegis?

I am looking for and EDC. I was looking at the SOG Aegis Tanto (Black TiNi) but have recently heard some bad things about the quality of the lock and the blade. I also like the SOG Trident design. Would that be a better EDC knife?

the problem with any tanto is it doesn’t have a good sweep to the blade for slashing it is a chopper and stabber, the trident is all of those plus a slasher it also has a better reinforced point
