Tier Japanese

Ordered a lolita dress?
So about a week or two ago, I ordered a Japanese gothic lolita style dress for an upcoming anime convention. Instead of buying a premade dress I chose to have it custom made to make sure it will fit me perfectly!
I was just wandering if anyone has ordered a custom made dress before and approximatly how long it took for the dress to come in!
Thank you all in advance! <3

Thats the dress!
It depends on how fast the seamstress/tailor usually works. Generally, the person you’re commissioning a custom made item will tell you a set amount of time they can make it in. I wished that you had asked about this dress before buying it because I’m afraid that you’ll actually get scammed. You see, many girls in the EGL (elegant gothic and lolita) Community of livejournal had been scammed by Milanoo. Although this is an original item rather than some random photo of a dress that they’ve stolen from an actual site (and for some reason, they’re all stock photos of items from 3 or so years ago…), I probably wouldn’t have bought it anyway. I don’t mean to be rude, I’m sure that to you, it may look pretty and fancy…but to many seasoned lolitas like myself, the color theme could be much better (on another note, I just zoomed in the photo and I’m wondering why in the world are some parts fuzzy like it was photoshopped). Red and black looks so much better and less costumy if they were seperate rather than put together.
Maybe you don’t want my opinion, and so if it turns out alright, then by all means wear it. If it doesn’t turn out as great as you hoped it would be, there’s a slim chance that Milanoo is going to take any responsibility for paypal claims. If you don’t believe me, then you ought to read this:

I know that this doesn’t have to do anything with eBay, but you’ll get what I mean about the photoshopping

And if you ever want to buy lolita in the future, I suggest checking these places out (and you can put your trust in these shops – almost all shops have physical locations).

Ill Communication $6.18 By 1994 the Beasties had settled into their cultural role as the grand arbiters of cool, and Ill Communication is pretty much a catalog of coolness: live funk, a bit of hardcore, ingenious samples of obscure records, keyboards by analogue master Money Mark, guest shots by Q-Tip and Biz Markie, MCA’s cop-show metal number “Sabotage,” and the inevitable cascade of witty old-school rhymes. But it’s a… |
