how do feel if your school hire security to check students’ belongings?

I mean, what if they just wanna protect the students from some crazy killers? There were a lot of mass shootings in American schools. For example, the Columbine shooting, the Virginia Tech University and so on. What if school wanna check what are in the students’ bags so that they can make sure than no one could carry guns or knifes to school?

This question is NOT silly. It is reality and should happen. If you do not have anything to hide them why worry. I would rather have my backpack searched to keep me safe then to have some student blow my brains out because they have beef with a teacher, another student or just life in general and is gonna take it out on us.

The ones who will complain are the ones who are bringing guns, knives and other weapons to school, Those are having illegal drugs like pot in their bags and purses, and those with embarrassing things like a vibrator or girly magazines.

If you go through the airport you have no problem getting searched, the courthouse does the same thing and believe it or not, Walt Disney World entrance checks every guest with a bag and goes through your bag to check for weapons.

If you are ok with that then why complain at school? It would just take one incident at your school to change your mind but why have to live through that when it could be stopped before it were to happen?

Here in the Orlando area, there is the story of a young 15 year boy with his whole life ahead of him. He pulled out a gun at school ( IT ended up being a fake gun ) and the police shot and killed the boy. He would still be alive today if someone would have searched him before school started.
