Sword Wall
How much would a sword like this be worth?
It’s about 40 pounds, has a wooden stand that can be hung on the wall. The handle is very decorative with golden (Fake gold) wrapping and a red jewel in the center of he handle and at the top of the handle. It’s about 4 feet tall. ~Naturally, I’m not trying to sell the sword on here, I just need an estimate on how much it’s worth.~
It’s a decorative king like sword. Doesn’t have any writing or names on it so I’m not sure where it was made.
A 40 pound sword? Did you actually weigh it or are you just guessing? I have never heard of a 40 pound sword….ever. Even the old ceremonial swords from the early renaissance weighed 15 at the most. My guess is it is one of the fantasy, made in China (or mass produced Toledo Spain pieces) that sells between $50 and $300. The Chinese ones are cheaper while the Spanish ones retail between 200-300.
