How Not To Play Victim Ladies

You, as a lady, are prey for some men or a victim applicant to criminals. As a victim:

  • Criminals actively look for their victims.
  • Criminals want victims who are easy to defeat.
  • Criminals want victims unaware of their illegal plans.
  • Criminals believe that what’s yours is their good fortune.
  • Criminal love victims who don’t know what’s going on around them.
  • A victim may be defined as: A person who suffers from a destructive or injurious action or agency: a victim of an automobile accident. Refer to the ten rules in the article titled how not to play prey ladies. To which add:

Rule 11, Everyone doesn’t love you or cares about what happens to you! There are people in this world who want what you have. In fact, they are willing to take what you have from you for themselves. Verify intentions of people before you operate on trust with them.

Rule 12, criminals break laws hence they are called law breakers.

Don’t expect criminals to obey laws. If they want a gun they will steal, borrow or beg to get one. Of course criminals don’t need to know about the contents of your home, purse, or safe combination. You don’t have to be kind to strangers. Nor, do you have to talk to them.

Rule 13, do not engage with strangers over directions, missing children, offering your cell phone until you are in a place of safety. A car in motion is a place of safety.

    Car rules:

    • Approach with key in hand.
    • Check backseat & floor for a person.
    • Open driver’s door after glancing around to see if someone is approaching.
    • If answer is no, then get in at your normal pace.
    • If answer is yes, then get in fast before they get there. Or run away and defend yourself.
    • Be aware of the vehicle next to you. Look for occupants and keep your eye on them.
    • Lock door(s), start engine, engage transmission, put foot on brake, fasten seatbelt, and leave Never roll down the window all the way to talk to people.
    • Practice your firearm or self-defense moves in a car to see what works and is safe for you.

    ATMs:

    • Must you use them at night?
    • Given a choice use the drive through ATM.
    • Don’t use if someone is hanging around it.
    • Don’t use if you can’t check area around it.
    • Do turn your back on the ATM while you wait and look around.
    • Visiting ATM from a car? Leave engine running and in gear. Door locked window partially down. Check mirrors for strangers approaching. If in doubt, hit the gas and get away.

    Home:

    • You need an alarm system covering all doors, windows, glassed in areas. A fire alarm tied into the burglar system would be nice too!
    • The alarm system needs a battery backup.
    • Ensure that vegetation around entrance areas offers no hiding places for strangers.
    • Night time motion detector light on main entrances. You won’t have to fumble finding the key hole in the dark. Also light means you can see the person before letting them in. Television camera would be nice but a door viewer works well too!
    • Your bedroom should have a cell telephone charging in it. The bedroom door should have a deadbolt lock installed. The cell phone ensures that you can call out even if telephone landline is cut or power is off. By the way, write down on a sheet of paper your name, street address, telephone number and what to shout at the burglar. A spare flashlight allows you to read the note when you call 911 with your cellphone and your own hand holding a firearm. Use cover or arrange room to provide cover for you.
    • Your alarm system should be monitored 24/7.
    • Most alarm systems have a panic code that turns them off but notifies monitoring station you are in trouble! So if burglar threatens you and forces you to turn off your system it will appear that you did so and inform station you are in trouble.

Weapons are only as good as you and your commitment to use them:

    • Martial art training
    • Edged weapons like sword, bayonet, folding knife, or kitchen knife.
    • Firearms like shotgun, rifle, or pistol.
    • Broom handle, baseball bat, or police baton.
    • Pepper spray, mace, even oven cleaner.

You are not a Bambi in the jungle. Be aware, take care of yourself and keep your defensive weapons close to hand.
