Is it safe to fly a plane threw a thunder-storm?

A large passenger plane, sure. A 747 can do loops and barrel rolls when loaded with lead weights.

A small plane, no not really. Smaller planes are safe to fly in still to moderately turbulent air, but not in a thunderstorm. Bear in mind when I say “small plane” I mean 2-6 seats; and by “moderately turbulent”, I mean turbulence that would make most non-pilots green and sick.

Any airliner (even a relatively small prop job) is VERY safe – they have to be made to withstand stand those aerodynamic stresses, by law.

All airplanes are inspected very closely very often, and the government supervises and spot-checks all those inspections.

Airplanes are much safer than travel by car or train.
