Scientifically, we do not know much about manta rays right now, but it appears that they feed more actively at night. As their main food source (plankton) rises up towards dive lights at the water’s surface, the manta rays follow. Watch their “angel wings” as they float above you – larger manta rays can display a wingspan of up to 20’!
