can cold steel’s nightshade series be detected by metal detectors?

do they put metal in them so they can be detected or is there no way for them to be detected?
this is just out of curiosity since i’d be amazed if they actually made a knife that can be sneaked aboard a airliner and be used for terrorist acts, especially after the 9/11 attacks, you’d think the government would have banned these by now, since they’d be a big problem for airports.

Metal detector? no. The x-ray, perhaps. In the long resume of jobs, I actually did Airport security pre TSA. The Nightshade metal or not would have been stopped for be a edged weapon. I.E. Like the steak knife set, Scissors, swords,axe are a no go). The metal detector is just that. Thus people spend time playing with keys and belt buckles. The x-ray belt would show it, But…… if mixed with other items or if busy, it could slip by. It would show much like a plastic comb would. Of course TSA is too busy searching kids & flirting to catch real bad guys.
