Steel Handle
*Regarding custom made STEEL handle bars……? DR-Z7- Suzuki?
So im half way through making custom handle bars for my SUZUKI DR-Z70 Bike.
It came with a 19mm handlebar and throttle setup etc. so annoying. any way so i am getting 19mm mild Steel tube bent to a desired shape and then getting the the part where the clamp is fit with a 22.2mm piece of steel tube. Wall thickness 2mm.
Just wondering is it strong and safe??? Already spent money and its a 70cc small bike….
I just really want a custom bar and want to paint it my self… etc. Pit Bike styles…
As long as the welds are good you’ll be good to go.
