Rambo’s bow. Some specifics on this awesome weapon?
I just took another look at one of my favorite action flicks Rambo:First Blood II. The second film featuring Sly Stallone in the title role, and the first to arm him with what became his signature weapon. The bow. When I watched the movie with the directors commentary, I was disappointed that he didn’t mention the bow at all.
What is this bow called. The one with the intricate pulleys. What do the pulleys do. What kind of range does this bow have. And who makes it.?
Rambo’s bow was a compound bow modified from a hoyt product. After the movie came out it went into production and was popular with the youth shooters. It never had the real capability to be as accurate or as fast as Hoyt’s better products nor was the quality there either and it quickly fell out of production. it only has value today as a collection item.
