Diana Hunting Tours Chooses Whitefish, MT Hunter for Cover

            Diana Hunting Tours has taken a few dips in the past, but it is on its way back to the top for hunters looking to take a top of the line hunting excursion trip.  Jan Krossteig, founder of Limpopo Travel, recently added Diana Hunting Tours to his expansive tourism corporation after the company declared bankruptcy in 2008.  Limpopo Travel has been offering exclusive family safaris and hunting excursions since 2003, and the addition of Diana Hunting Tours was a natural choice.  Diana’s partnerships have widened the scope of Limpopo Travel’s to include hunting tours and family holidays in over 40 countries, including the African countries of Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya, Mauritius, Swaziland, Madagascar, and South Africa.  Operating primarily out of Svendborg, Denmark, Limpopo Travel proudly offers photography safaris, family beach holidays, and self-driving tours throughout Africa.  Diana Hunting Tours has extended the reach of Limpopo Travel to include quality hunting tours all over the world.  One of their many specialties includes braving the wilds of South America.  Dean Grommet was recently chosen to be featured in Diana Hunting Tour’s magazine with photos from a particularly successful hunting trip to Argentina. 
            Dean Grommet pursues his art with the same zeal that he pursues hunting.  He grew up braving the wilds of Kentucky, learning how to hunt and appreciate nature at an early age.  His appreciation of nature is certainly evident in his functional art pieces that are showcased at www.antlerfurniture.org, the website of Creations Studio.  Creations Studio features several artists with a passion for western furniture and rustic décor.  Grommet ensconces the idea of the American west, the grand stature of the Rockies, and a hint of his safari hunting experiences in all of his pieces.  He is most renowned for his antler art furniture- he takes shed elk, moose, deer, caribou, and fallow red stag antlers and meticulously searches for the ones that flow and balance the feel of the piece he is working on.  Some antlers curve to form the base of a table, others wrap around chairs to make arm rests, but you can be sure that each one has an artful purpose.  One other highlight of Grommet’s handmade art furniture is the use of exotic animal hides.  One western bench incorporates zebra hair-on hide, while another rustic table uses leather to form delicate hand-twisted fringe.  His heirloom furniture design adds a unique, conversation-starting element to any room and can be found at the Creations Studio website or at western design shows and western art galleries across the country. 
            Grommet crafts his furniture with the same attention to detail which he hunts and runs Glacier Jet Technologies with.  Glacier Jet Technologies is located in Kalispell, Montana.  Grommet co-owns the company with Josh Boyce, who has owned the company for 7 years.  Glacier Jet Technologies uses water jet cutting, laser cutting, and plasma cutting to manufacture and fabricate materials.  Utilizing the three technologies of water jet, plasma, and laser machines, they are able to precision cut almost any material to customer specifications whether it is a mass produced industrial part for wind energy or an artistic individual project.  Their precision cutting services have carved out a name for Glacier Jet Technologies in the community, and they are currently in the process of expanding with new facilities.
