Stag Folding

In what states besides CT and CA can a civilian not have?
a collapsible stock on a long gun, and a rifle that has a threaded barrel?
I live in CT. I bought a Stag Arms model 4. The guy at the gun store had to find one that did not have a threaded barrel, because you are not allowed to have that if you are a civilian due to the “assault weapons ban.”
I also noticed that you cannot buy a rifle with a collapsible stock. I was handling a civilian FN SCAR and tried to fold the stock, and the guy is like “Oh that is not capable of folding. “Assault Weapons” ban.”
That will not be a problem because I plan on moving to Vermont to build my house, and you can have anything there (short of the obvious things that need special licensing.)
So, again, which states are like CT and CA? Where as they cannot have a collapsible stock and threaded barrel?
Thanks!
That is good to hear. While I am pretty sure Vermont will be where I will live, I can’t help but look at other places. New England is boring as hell.
