What is the first step. What is the process from getting the authorization from the insurance co. (if thats even where it comes from) also how to convert the units and hours into the time frame of dates of services. You will need to file a claim according to the insurance company’s requirements. Some will require only proof of ongoing care and others will want a bill for every item you want reimbursed. Contact your insurance company to get started and they will walk you through it. They have staff that are use to helping new poeple through the claims process (although expect a long hold time on the phone).
