what dissolves superglue?

i got superglue on my spyderco knife and i want it off. somebody told me that acetone would remove it but i dont want my black coating to remove. will acettone remove m black coating
it has a DLC coating

A little nail polish remover (acetone) from the drugstore will take it off. Just soak a cotton ball or two with it, and it’ll take the glue right off.

It won’t take off the black coating (I’ve used it before on a knife with black coating) since the only commonly-found thing that would remove the coating would be an abrasive (sandpaper, steel wool, etc.).
