A small steel ball bearing with a mass of 25 g is on a short compressed spring. When aimed vertically and suddenly released, the spring sends the bearing to a height of 1.23 m. Calculate the speed ( in m/s)at which the ball leaves the spring.

There’s a formula for that :
Mass / Horizontal (0 degrees) x Angle (90 degrees) x 1000m/ 60 minutes.
To get the answer, simply divide by 3600
