Stuck in Dark Messiah Might and Magic for the 360?

Alright, in chapter 5 in the temple of the spider I have already fixed the elevator, gotten those one forbidden daggers and now I am making my way back to the elevator but I am stuck. I am back at the part where you jump down into the water and swim down to pull the lever to flood part of the chamber to get out but I dont know where to go from here or if I missed something? The other gate that is in that room right outside is still closed, and I never fought the cyclops I just bypassed him or something.

simple question simple answer:

easy just open the disk tray grab the disk and snap it over your knee and jump on it 3 or 4 times
because that games is so S H I T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
