Special Recon

Special Recon
If Marine Recon is the equivalent to Special Forces in the Army, what is the equivalent to Army Rangers?

Since Marine Recon (MR) is considered the elite in the Marines, I was wondering who was next in line after MR, just like how the Army Rangers are next to Special Forces. So what/who is the equivalent to the Army Rangers in regards to mission type, size, training, entry requirements, overall etc. Sorry if I’ve made any mistake above!

Your kind of right about being equivalent to SF. What used to be Force recon (now is called MSOC, what ever I just go to work) We go through most of the school SF have to go to, Sere, jump, dive, freefall, ranger etc. We also training in CQB and special reconnaissance and many other things that would take me all day to finish writing about. We are also qualified to train foreign military. The biggest difference is how we work for. When it was Force recon we only got mission that wore of necessity for the marine corps. Now that we have moved to SOCOM national level mission should be coming up in the near future.
Marine recon is what is equivalent to the ranger. Again just different missions. Remember there is a HUGE differents between Force reconnaissance Co and Recon Battalion.
