How Do You Do Ken’s Shinryuken Special In Street Fighter 4?

I Have been playing street fighter for a long time so im not new but usually it is down forward twice and then kick to do his shinryuken special i tried that and it doesnt work.So then i looked at the command list they change it to down forward twice and all three punch buttons.I tried this several times but i keep doing the shoyureppa special. I dont understand what i am doing wrong can someone help

check your button layout. you might just be pressing the wrong button. what your talking about is the ultra, when the revenge bar on the far left side of your vital gage is glowing red, is when you do your all 3 punch/kick movies. i think what your doing is waiting untill your super bar is full (the bar with the blue blocks that you have to fill up when you make a movie, or get hit.) the super special is different then the ultra special attacks, read through the manual once to figure it out. i went through it once right before playing and ihaven’t had any problems. ive actually already unlocked everyone but goken and ceth.
