Blood in phlegm and small bump behind ear?
Hi,
I have had a few specs of blood in my phlegm about 3 times, could it be anything serious?
I’ve also had a lump, no bigger than maybe 5 mm in diameter for about 2 months.
any help appreciated
well, I don’t know how else to say this, but
by phlegm, is it sinus drainage or are you coughing this up?
blood in sinus drainage is a sign of a sinus infection. Some go away on their own and others require antibiotics.
blood in coughed up mucus could mean many different things, but it is better to get checked out by doctor just to be sure…can’t hurt.
As for the lump….more than likely a lymph node. But, let the doctor check that too.
