Black furniture, taupe walls, mauve purplish accessories…would bronze or silver work better?

Tryng to be an aspiring interior decorator here lol. I don’t want to buy alllll black furniture I want to mix it up a bit. Like the curtain rod finials and I want to buy a huge floor mirror… Would bronze/rust or silver work better?
