How do I clean the inside of my katana sheath?

I cleaned my katana yesterday but when I took the katana out the inside of the sheath is what was dirtying it. How do I clean the inside of the sheath?

When you’re done cleaning your sword and BEFORE you sheath it, take the case, hold it upside down, and shake all the little wood bits out of it.

These little wood chips and sawdust accumulate just about every time you put the sword in it as the blade cuts the wood inside a bit.
