Good Sharpening Stone for Hunting Knife?

So I have an elk ridge hunting knife. Its made of stainless steel. What is a good sharpening stone for this knife? A link would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need patience and an Arkansas Whetstone with rough/smooth sides. The finest ones made are from an area near where I live.
