Serpentine Ninja

Did you “fail” the California (or similar) skills test? If so, did the tester actually have you fail?

I went to the DMV today to practice the serpentine and circle ride on a Ninja 250. I found the serpentine portion challenging, especially going from the last “cone” into the subsequent circle. I just don’t see how “failing” that test defines you as a motorcyclist. You can be very successful in most any traffic situation without being able to do slalom riding and without being able to do a 360 circle ride like that.

Quit your whining and go learn how to control your machine.
Any fool can clearly see that if you can negotiate that simple test, you have a fair amount of control over your vehicle.
