How do you clean a mattress and box-spring after storage?
I have a mattress and box spring that has been in storage for a while sealed in plastic covers. I am needing to use both of them in the very near future and want to know the best way to clean them before sleeping on them. There are no stains and they are both in great condition but they have been in storage for a long while.
Air them out for a few days before vacuuming. Then vacuum each and if you know someone who has a better vacuum than you, borrow theirs and use it! That’s it, you’re good to go! If you stored them in plastic they should be fine! Make sure you air them out though so you can get the plasticy smell out of them!
