Scottish Celtic

Do you consider Celtic a Scottish or Irish club?
Don’t quote passages from the clubs history or mission statement to me.
Just your own personal opinion – do you consider the club Irish or Scottish?
I’m genuinely interested in how we are seen by our own fans and the rest.
I don’t actually feel the need to label them at all, they are just Celtic to me. If you are going on technicalities, I’d say originally they were an Irish/Catholic club based in Scotland. They were clearly located in Scotland, but quintessentially Irish in make up.
I suppose at the end of the day, they are many things to many people and there will always be a slight division, between those leaning towards all things Irish and those who have grown up in Scotland, without all the Irish attachment. I don’t think there is a definitive line that can be drawn these days, you can’t just call them Irish or Scottish, they are both and have integrated both parts into who they are.
