How To Be A Real Tough Guy

Have you ever seen these pseudo tough guys who ride around on low rider motorcycles wearing a black helmet and a frown? It makes you shake your head and smile, especially after they take off their black jacket and reveal their flabby physiques.

A mean looking tattoo isn’t going to help you, anymore than having the baddest motorbike in town is. Stop fooling yourself and get in shape. That’s the only way you’re going to impress anybody. Work out and let your real muscle growth show the world who you really are.

Now that you’ve been shocked into the realization that you’re not impressing anyone, it’s time to do something about it. You’ll probably find that getting on a regular workout schedule will not only make you look better, it will make you feel better, too.

Especially if you’ve never done any weight training or other physical training before, you’re going to need a personal trainer to help you in the beginning. Far too many people get inspired for a day and sign up at a gym. Then they stop when they don’t see results after a couple of weeks. Your personal fitness instructor will be able to teach you the right way to work out and the right foods to eat. He’ll also motivate you to stick with your program.

Let’s get real: a steady diet of potato chips and beer while sitting in front of the TV watching Conan the Barbarian or Kung Fu Fighters isn’t going to get you fit. Are you really naive enough to believe that Arnie, Jackie and Chuck got fit that way? Of course not. They worked out and worked out hard.

Weight training isn’t the only way to build up your body. You can take a martial arts class if that appeals to you more. The important thing is that you get professional fitness training and stick with the program. You may save money if you buy a fitness workout DVD, but you probably won’t get very much out of it. You need someone to motivate you to push your limits.

This might all sound very negative, but the goal is positive. Working out gives benefits way beyond just looking good. You’ll find that your self esteem will also soar. Fitness and a healthy lifestyle will open doors for you in life that you won’t believe until it happens.
