PlayStation Move : Will It Become A Hit?

Just a few years ago, Nintendo revolutionized the way that people play video games with a new technology where the movement of your hands and arms control the action. But Sony has certainly learned from Nintendo and decided to develop its own motion control to add up to its already established HD visuals capability. Sony introduces PlayStation Move which is a new controller for the PlayStation 3 that allows users to control actions on screen with physical movements. This new controller redefines motion gaming and brings it to a whole new level.You can buy the components together in PlayStation Move bundle or purchase them separately. What is included in the bundle: PlayStation Move motion controller, PlayStation Eye, Sports Champions Blu-ray game, and PlayStation Move game demo disc.

The primary remote is just about the size of the Nintendo Wii remote. Motion can be tracked accurately within actual 3D area instead of just assuming relative movement based on your prior position. This means that most gameplay actions call for a total and complete movement on Move — but it also implies exciting factor to augmented reality (AR). And to support AR you will need a camera which is available with the Sony PlayStation Eye.

The PlayStation Move motion controller will use the Eye to locate where the wand’s position is by detecting the color-changing sphere. The PlayStation Move motion controller has a quick response time of 22 milliseconds! The controller also has the 3 axis gyroscope, a 3 axis accelerometer, and a terrestrial magnetic field sensor.

PlayStation Move Starter Bundle includes Sports Champion, consists of six events ranging from archery to gladiator style dueling. Sports Champions has three variants modes, i.e. Free Play, Challenge Mode and Competition Mode. Competition Mode allows players to go head to head and compete with up to three friends.
