How can I edit my personal style? I want to be more funky. Suggestions?

I work in a very conservative atmosphere and I have generally been pretty feminine and conservative in my looks. I have long blonde hair, petite build, and I buy the majority of my clothes at American Eagle and the Gap. I am totally obsessed with Parker Posey. I want to have her style. I want to be more funky. Any suggestions on what I can do? I attached some pics for those who don’t know who Parker is.
