Good Every Day Carry knife?

I’m not looking for a Swiss Army Knife or anything, but I want a medium sized spring assisted folding knife for under $40. I’ve been looking at the Kershaw Ken Onion Leek (serrated) and the Gerber FAST Draw (also serrated), but am open to any and all suggestions. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?

I carry a Gerber Paraframe. It’s a good average size and lighter than most other knives. It opens easily and the metal seems to keep a pretty good edge. I’ve used some of the Kershaw products. They’re good knives, but I don’t care for the way you have to hold them to use the assist function. I usually wind up dropping it. Plus, there is a “safety” that you have to deal with. Gerber has a number of folding knives in different sizes and blade styles. I like the traditional shape/half serrated.
