Officier Suisse

What is the little hook on my pocket knife for?
I have an officier suisse and there is a little hook on it. The hook is too small to grab ropes or anything. I just dont know
If it a small blade that flips out with a small hook on the end it’s called a hook. Seems like they could have come up with a cooler name for it.
You can use it to tie knots, to repair Equipment (stitching) Since it creates a T-Handle it’s great for pulling cords taut for camping.
Some are even sharpened to help gut fish.
Hope this helps,
Alan
