My God, I can’t believe WE as Americans are debating HUMAN TORTURE….am I dreaming or what?
In July of 1779 G. Washington rode up to to find 6 of his men including 2 officers beating and whipping a British officer.
Washington stopped them and the men told him they were trying to get information out of him
Washington ANGERLY said: We are BETTER MEN than this!
Torture has never worked, report and study after study has proven this over & over.
My God, here we are in 2007 debating if we should TORTURE Human beings….what has happened to us??
America used to be a Shinning City on a Hill, if we continue this barbaric behavior it GIVES our enemy justification to TORTURE our soldiers.
It DOES not SAVE American lives….under TORTURE people will saying anything to get them to stop….the information is almost always wrong.
I ask you today as Washington asked so many years ago
ARE WE BETTER MEN THAN THIS????
