snowboarding questions: phone and what to wear on top?

if i have a silicone case for my phone and i wrap it in a sock, and put it in an inner jacket side pocket without a zipper, will that be okay? or should i put it in outer jacket side pocket with zipper?
for what to wear up top, is this warm enough?
i was gonna wear from outside to inside, a rain jacket, shell: 100% nylon, lining: 100% polyester for upper body & hood, 100% nylon for lower body and sleeves, filler: 2oz 100% polyester resin coated, then another jacket, shell: 100% polyester, hood & jacket lining, sleeve lining and sleeve filler: 100% polyester and then 100% cashmere turtleneck and non-cotton sports bra.

yeah, those layers sound fine put your phone in the outer pocket. it will do no good putting it in an inner pocket with no zipper, because a sock won’t keep it from falling out. the outer one is safer to keep it from falling out. although if you’re new to this and will fall a lot, then bringing your phone isn’t a very good idea.
