Career in Navy
Whenever we see a person fully dressed in a national uniform, there are a number of impressions, we make out of it. Either it is the pride of their position or the glow on their face, which makes us carried away. I personally get a lot much fanaticised by the dress and the uniform worn by the people in navy, army or by the people in policemen. It is really a matter of great pride for these students, who get to clear the entrance tests for such important positions. There are many job profiles or industries in the country, where one can work and earn money, but working in the top nosh sectors of the country like navy and army, not only makes a person earn money, but also gives him the opportunity to serve the nation as a whole.
A student from the very beginning of his career needs to be very firm and constant in his decision of joining the Indian Navy. Moreover the facilities given by the government, for you being a part of the naval services of the country, makes the whole family proud on the student. At a very young age, students are selected for various positions in the navy, to give their best in the job profile chosen. The students aiming for job in the Indian navy, needs to give entrance examination for the UPSC, making themselves eligible for the government jobs, like jobs in the navy or army. Every country has different examinations for the civil services. For appearing in these examinations, the student needs to be a citizen of the country.
After the completion of the senior secondary school examination, a student can apply for the entrance examination for UPSC, from wherein he gets the route to clear himself for his dream job in the Indian navy. The colleges like National Defense Academy, Naval Academy, Goa are the institutions in India, wherein you can apply for the naval course, after clearing the UPSC examination. In these colleges, a person get to take the Defense training, after which he needs to take education for three years in any of the subjects like Physics, Chemistry, after which the person is sent for training. There are no private colleges in India, which has got the right to deliver the courses for the career in defense.
A lot of training and hard work is required to excel in this field, and it not only requires you to be mentally strong but you also need to possess a strong physical structure, which would help you in handling tough situations and safeguarding the country from unfriendly elements. Training is the basis on which the students are posted in different sections like logistics, aviation, execution, engineering, etc. The atmosphere and the methodologies adopted by the colleges for Defense in India, makes the student much more responsible and obedient and intelligent enough to deal with the difficulties of the outer world. Personality development is the most important and the precious asset that a student gains by being a part of colleges for Defense services of the country.
Even the army or the navy schools are very strict and taking admissions in them is not an easy nut to crack. And going further for the UPSC examinations, the student has to put in a lot to clear the entrance tests. The syllabus for the UPSC examinations differs on the basis of the subject or the field in which the student has opted to take the entrance examination. The toughness level of the exam is surely a bit high, because of the limitation of the number of seats available in the colleges for respective courses. Therefore, you need to prepare hard and should possess a great knowledge in the field for which you have applied.
