Can U.S. Naval Officers in the Naval Aviation community earn the Surface Warfare Officer qualification?

Can U.S. Naval Officers in the Naval Aviation community earn the Surface Warfare Officer qualification? If so, how would the Naval Aviator go about earning that qualification? Also, I am not talking about switching warfare communities. I am simply asking whether they can earn the qualification and be issued the Surface Warfare Officer insignia.

The simple answer is no.

Each of the references listed below stipulate that you must be a graduate from Surface Warfare Officers School (SWOS) Division Officer Course. Highly unlikely that you could attend this school with with Aviator Wings on your chest. If you are highly motivated to command a ship at sea deep draft ships (AOR, AOE, LHA, CVN) the skipper is usually an Aviator.
