Medieval Maximus

Last name for character!?

The character in my book is Maximus. Ive been trying to think of a last name for him but cant think of any. I need a last name for him that comes from around the medieval times or the time with knights and kings and such. I don’t know if a description of him would help but he’s tall and very muscular. he has dark hair and eyes. isn’t rich, lives in the poorer cities. he’s also a trained emissary and in the story he has to rescue a king’s daughter. I would like something that goes with my other characters with last names like Raett, Laithion, and Lusair. Let me know if you need more info on him for help. Thanks so much!!!
