Medieval Era

What did tailors wear during the medieval era?
Was it what they created or perhaps an old rag – during the medieval era?
They would not have worn rags. A male tailor would dress much like other men, he would wear a tunic made of woollen cloth, with a linen smock underneath, and probably hose (like stockings) made of knitted wool, and leather shoes. In cold weather he would wear a cloak when he went otu, and he would wear a hat of some kind.
A lady tailor would dress like other medieval women, a dress of woollen cloth over a linen smock, woollen stockings and shoes of leather. A married woman would wear a wimple (a veil of linen cloth wrapped around her head).
