can a person join the us marine corp if hes not an american ciizen or a green card holder?
wikipedia says that many us marine corp soldiers are not of us nationality yet they serve in the marine corp http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_volunteer
if a green card is not required how does a foreign volunteer who speaks fluent english apply.does he get help from the US government for his passport,visa,plane tickets etc?
No. You must hold a green card or be a citizen to serve in any branch of the US military. The military does not want foreign nationals with no allegiance to the US infiltrating their ranks. That would be a huge security risk.
In my opinion, green card holders are also a risk, but the military allows them to serve.
