Group of us going to Budapest on stag weekend, Suggestions ?

Great advice in those 2 answers already. We organise stag weekends in Budapest.

99.9% of the time groups are completely safe in budapest. The city has a very low crime rate especially to foreign guests.

The real problem lies when you don’t hire somebody to be your guide and effectively ‘hold your hand’. We have never ever had a problem until last night. 2 of the guys on the stag weekend decided to leave the rest of the group and go explore the city by themselves. They were drinking since flying from England early morning so by 8pm last night they were ‘quite’ drunk. Anyway, within a few minutes a taxi appeared out of no where, offered them a free ride to a ‘free entry’ strip club. Even though our guide had warned earlier yesterday of exactly that, they still jumped in…

They were taken to a strip club and after a couple of hours drinking a ‘few’ beers they were whacked with a 400 english pounds equivalent bill to pay. Ofcourse, they didn’t have the money to pay so they were frogmarched to their apartment at gun point to get their credit card and withdraw the money from a cash point machine.

The rest of the group were totally safe with their guide whilst all this was going on.

Anyway, enough about the bad, that was 1 incident in hundreds of bookings. To answer your questions:

Our usual Itenerary:

Friday
- Welcome champagne and stripper on transfer bus
- Liszt Ferenc Ter for some ‘giraffe’ beers
- Dinner at sir Lancelot themed restaurant
- Safe visit to great strip club

Saturday
- Activity. Usually go karting, shooting or quads
- Pub crawl
- VIP entry to nightclub

Sunday
- Visit to thermal spa
- transfer to airport

Exchanging money is better in Budapest. You get up to 10% MORE than in the United Kingdom. Our group yesterday got 380 forints to 1 english pound.

If you decide to do it alone, you can get from the airport by airport minibus which costs about 10 euros each person.

You can find different activities online easily on google.

The previous suggestion of sexiside and the british embassy blacklisted clubs is an excellent one and we highly recommend that.
