Are there other events like Warrior Dash?

I am looking to do an event similar to Warrior Dash. I am wondering if there are any others similar to it? (I am trying to find something a little closer to where I live). Any help would be appreciated. Also, I am wondering what this type of event is called, so I could do some searching for them on my own. Thanks!

Have you heard of Metro Dash? It’s an urban race series with a course designed by Navy SEALs. The dates for nine cities have been announced so far.

This year the Metro Dash schedule includes:

Charlotte, N.C.: June 11

Washington D.C.: July 9
Salt Lake City: July 30
