EDC Knife (Cold Steel 4 inch Zytel “Ti-Lite”)?

I want an EDC (Every Day Carry) Knife that:

Based on my experience with Cold Steel and other folders I would recommend either Kershaw or Benchmade knives over CS.

E.g. Kershaw Shallot made of Sandvik 13C26 steel. They also have several other models that fit your requirements and Sandvik is better steel than AUS8 used by cold steel.

Benchmade also has several knives that fit your requirements.

Also, Zytel isn’t the best knife handle material It has problems deforming under heat or cold.

CRKT knives made of the same AUS8 steel are better priced and less hyped. Fit and finish on those is same level as CS if not better.

I personally don’t like Cold Steel warranty policy, when they void it if the user attempts to replicate Cold Steel’s own tests.
