Which Knife Should I Buy?

I have decided on getting the Kershaw Leek as an every day carry knife. I am undecided between two models and was hoping for some input/clarification. I am getting either the standard Leek or the Leek Random. I was wondering what kind of steel they are both made out of, I have read either 440a or 13C26. Which is better and where should I buy the from?

It really depend what your going to be using it for..”every day carry knife” means many things. are you in a line of work where you cut a great deal? or is it just a pocket knife that will be used every so often for a box strap or a line? if its the first one then id say neither and drop some cash on a high carbon steel, with stainless you’d be sharpening every few days. if its the second one then id go with a cheaper knife (20-30 range) because those two you selected have “premium tanto steel” which doesn’t mean anything and you’d be paying for the name.
