Leek Assisted

What kind of knife should I get?
I have bought a kershaw leek the past 4-5 times I bought a knife an I absolutely love it. Mainly because it comes very sharp from the factory and it has the assisted opening feature. The only thin is, just about all of the ones i ever owned the tips broke off. I am wondering what kind of metal I should look for that is stronger and isn’t going go break on me as easily. This particular knife says 1660, which I think is the grade of steel/whatever metal it is.
The 1660 is the model of the leek knife. It is made of tungsten steel with the blade being 440A and the handle being a softer 410A, however, both parts are still tungsten steel which is very hard. Apparently you are abusing the knife in some way if you keep breaking the points off of them. Take a look at the Kershaw Lahar, slightly larger and heavier, but the point will still break if you abuse it in the same way as the others. Other than that, leave the pocketknife arena and look at a heavier fixed blade belt knife.
