Laser Engraved

I am looking to buy a Sterling Silver wedding band and I wanted to get it laser engraved from the outside.?

So is that possible? Because I called about 12 jewelers and none of them said they do that. If it is, how much would it cost and do you recommend any stores?

Laser engraving for silver is going to be very difficult considering that silver is extremly reflective.. best bet is to go with traditional hand engraving with tools designed to work with silver, gold and other precious metals
